​We do everything from the beginning of automobile bearings to complete gas engine, tractor, and antique engine builds. We specialize in perfection of tolerances, machine work, correct replacement part quality, and antique engine  assembly.

 One: Assess the damage

Looking at every aspect of an engine problem such as; { rods knocking} could penetrate all the  way down to issues that are  unseen. Such as; rod alignment, or a cracked crank. There can be additional problem areas effecting a situation that needs to be assessed to give a correct diagnosis. That's where knowledge, and experience ease the problem solving of antique engine, and parts rebuilding.

Two:  Fix the problem

Perfection, and knowledge in quality machining is second to none at Kohnke Machine. We are proud to be colleages with some of the top machine shops in the country. Think about it, if a crank journal is ground crooked, or tapered, then how do you fit a straight bearing to it? Yes, quality in every aspect is essential!

Three: Finalize the work

Our machine shop is a clean and dust free with all benches covered with paper, and cleaned every time an area is worked in. That's to insure a sanitary, dirt, and grease free environment. All components to be shipped are carefully, and tightly packaged for a damage free safe trip to its destination.  Insurance is always added in shipping.
